Lakor Louis - Former LRA child soldier interview Part 1

One rainy night in 1994, Louis Lakor and his family were at home sleeping when Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) rebels attacked, kicked everyone out of the house, shot and killed Lakor’s parents and one of his sisters before asking the rest to “get moving.” This was the beginning of a hard journey in which Lakor saw three of his remaining siblings killed. Twenty six years later, he is a completely transformed man working very hard to rehabilitate and provide training in vocational skills to former child soldiers in Northern Uganda. His story is a gripping tale of resilience, hard work and forgiveness.
